Book Blurb

Nathaniel’s been keeping a secret—even the most improbable soulmates can be drawn together.

Nathaniel, youngest of the brothers, has been keeping a secret. He knows the identity of his soulmate, but he hasn’t told anyone—because it’s not just impossible, it’s improbable. No one has more than one soulmate in a lifetime, but his new mark has drawn him to Abram—a widower who had, and lost, his mate long ago. It cannot happen, and yet it has…and Nathaniel’s falling in love, fast.

Abram is charmed by the adorable amber-eyed man, but not fooled. Falling for Nathaniel would be a one-way ticket to Heartbreak Hotel. Abram’s twenty-five years older, and he’s had his time with his soulmate. He knows there are no second chances, but every time Nathaniel enters his life, he wins another piece of Abram’s heart. Even if Abram knows better, he’s beginning to wonder if dreams can come true.

Or if miracles might just have been real all along.

Book Review

“Nothing is impossible; there are ways that lead to everything, and if we had sufficient will, we should always have sufficient means. It is often merely for an excuse that we say things are impossible.” ~ Francois De La Rochefoucauld

Using absolutes, such as always, every, or never, is unwise. No matter what the situation, there's a possible, if not probable, exception. If Nathaniel, of 'All Along' by Willia Okati, didn't believe this, he wouldn't have been able to trust his feeling. Nathaniel knows what his developing soulmark means. He feels its draw toward Abram even though he's a widower and has already had his soulmate. Even though it goes against everything they are taught, Nathaniel is determined to convince Abram that they are soulmates as well.

Nathaniel is my favorite of the three brothers in this series. He's the youngest and, in many ways, the most intelligent and stable. He's not like his brothers in stature either. Robbie and Cade are tall men with the bulk to match, where Nathaniel is built like a willow. Instead of working with his hands, Nathaniel is a librarian. When he notices the soulmark, he keeps it a secret, partly because he doesn't want to be teased and partly because he can hardly believe his own eyes. Nathaniel knows who has the matching mark; but he also knows that it's not possible. Nathaniel has all the symptoms which occur right before meeting his soulmate, although who it is defies logic. Abram has the matching soulmark and he's already had his soulmate. In spite of this, he launches a campaign to win Abram over; to convince him that the impossible has, indeed, happened.

Abram is much older than Nathaniel and can't imagine, even if it were possible, how someone so young could possibly be interested in someone twenty-five years older. Abram is not easily convinced even though Nathaniel's soulmark matches him because the idea of having more than one soulmate just doesn't make sense to him. Although he feels a strong attraction to Nathaniel, Abram doesn't think it's a good idea to encourage him. He just can't accept that this could happen.

This is the fifth and final book of the 'Soulmarked' series. Each book focuses on a different set of characters—Robbie and Ivan; Nick and Barrett; Jesse and Daniel; Cade and Dennis; and, last but not least, Nathaniel and Abram. Each couple had their own set of circumstances they had to deal with and they all found the person with whom they matched. The beautiful thing about it is that through it all, love found a way to get and keep them together. I recommend this story to fans of the series and to those who are new to it who, like me, are hopeless romantics wanting to believe that there's someone for everyone. Thanks, Willa! I'm going to miss the guys and their antics.
