Adwaka can’t stand to be away from Blade. The mating bond has begun, but Blade has yet to claim him. Adwaka knows that Blade merely tolerates him, so he begins to self-medicate in order to deal with the pain.

Blade must leave for a short mission and leave Adwaka behind. When he returns, he finds his mate has been sedated after an episode. Blade knows something is wrong with Adwaka but has no clue how to help him.

Blade decides sending Adwaka home may be the best solution, but can Blade selflessly let his mate go even though his heart is breaking in two?

The two find their way through the murky waters of mating to discover a bond unlike anything they have ever known as the crew fights to get away from the Elite Force that’s hot on their trail.

Book Review

I enjoyed this fourth book in the Lady Blue Crew series very much. The fun and excitement, along with interesting story lines, continues.

Adwaka is Orillian and because of that once he scents his mate, the mating heat begins with a vengeance. This causes Adwaka incredible physical and mental pain if he is separated from Blade until they perform the claiming. Adwaka does not understand why Blade won't claim him and so he begins to sedate himself to stop the pain.

Blade knows that Adwaka is his mate and he is dying to claim him. However, due to the circumstances they found Adwaka in, Blade is convinced that his little mate is not ready and that Blade needs to wait until Adwaka is completely healed. But coming back from a mission Blade discovers Adwaka is self-medicating and he is determined to get to the bottom of this.

Of course, this is all going on while the Elite Force is still hunting the crew and along with a large bounty on their heads means every criminal in the galaxies is trying to capture them!
