Book Blurb

While chasing a fugitive, Quint Domanico risks his life to save a man caught in the line of fire. Dalton, a waiter with a passion for performing, doesn't expect to fall head over heels in love with the ruggedly handsome bounty hunter who saved his life.

Dalton has had no luck in money or love. He's used to being on his own and isn't sure if he's meant for commitment. If his relationship with Quint moves from great sex to something more permanent, will he be ready?

Book Review

Of the three Domanico brothers (triplets, really), Quint has so far been the most elusive, which may have something to do with his job as a bounty hunter (or bail recovery agent as he prefers to be called). When he meets Dalton, who is not into danger in any way, shape, or form, the two seem to have nothing in common. Yet something clicks, and what follows is a careful exploration of their attraction, driven by lust at first, but quickly developing into more.

Dalton is a waiter, but only because he has to pay the bills. He wants to be a singer, and so far has managed to perform two nights a week at the club he works. His life hasn’t been easy, any relationships were short to the point of being nonexistent. When he runs into Quint, quite literally, he cannot believe the hunky man wants more from him. Even after several dates he still hesitates to commit emotionally.

Quint, even though we never hear from him, is a man whose actions speak louder than words. So I felt I got to know him quite well. He works a lot, protects Dalton from the very first, and could get quite possessive if given a chance. Since Dalton is also a friend, not just a lover, Quint’s temperament is kept in check. He never says much until they have been together for a while, but when he does? No doubt remains about his feelings.

If you like men who fall for each other right away but don’t want to admit it (not even to themselves), if you enjoy stories without much drama, and if you're looking for an entertaining, sweet read about two loners who never expected to find their match, then you will probably like this short story.
